Greetings from Ventura County, California. I hail from Wichita, KS and was first licensed as a Novice in 1971. My on-air activities include HF ragchewing (especially on CW) and public service communications. I’ve been a resident of California since 1988. Memberships: ARRL, Conejo Valley Amateur Radio Club, Straight Key Century Club (#266), FISTS (#12882), Ventura County ARES and Samuel F. Morse Amateur Radio Club (W6SFM).  I enjoy Field Day, especially introducing young people to ham radio in general and Morse Code in particular.

In 1996, I received the callsign previously held by my grandfather Wilkie M. Miller, Sr. (SK)  He was first licensed as W9UFC in Kansas in 1935.  Kansas became part of the 10th Call District in the late 1940s, hence the change to W0UFC.

Tom, W0UFC (ex-WN0GIX, ex-WB0GIX)
